"The Main Event" Concert Press Conference

A press conference for the concert "THE MAIN EVENT" was held at the Celebrity Center International, Hollywood, California with Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha and Martin Nievera in attendance. They were very gracious and had a lot of fun answering questions from reporters representing The Tribune, Asian Journal, Balita, and from other local newspapers. The concert's sponsors and other guests were also invited to ask questions.

One thing that the stars promised to
everyone was that the show tonight, Sept. 6, 2008 at the Pasadena Civic
Center, would bring out the best of each one of them and will have
somewhat of a "fight". Martin Nievera jokingly said "please, I want to
be heard, too", referring to the "powerful" voices of the two
superstars in the house.
The Press Event was hosted by Vic Perez, Line Producer of the show and featured opening remarks from Anna Co Puno, Producer, and two impersonators mimicking the styles of both Regine & Lani.
Awards of Recognition were handed out to all sponsors and representatives from the various organizations who were called to go up the stage to receive the plaque and framed photo of the event and have their photos taken with the stars.
The writer, Malou Sheets, represented ARAULLO HIGH SCHOOL 1972 INTERNATIONAL ALUMNI FOUNDATION.
